What’s the difference between Wagyu and Kobe?

Kobe is a region in Japan, known for exquisite beef.  Similar to the way Champagne is a style of sparkling wine produced in France. Wagyu is a breed of cattle.  It translates literally to ‘Japanese cattle’. Our Texas Wagu is naturally raised and produces an exceptionally delicious cut of beef.

Where does your beef come from?

Is your beef grain fed?

Our all certified natural Wagyu beef is GRASS-FED and GRAIN-FINISHED on a healthy distillers grain.

Do you smoke your meat here?

Yes, come by when the smoker is on, it smells amazing. We can also smoke any cut you purchase in store, just let us know and we can add into our smoke schedule.

Who are the owners?

The owners are Lowell Sands, Storm Sands, J.J. Barto and Tasso Ziebarth.

Do you have gift cards?

Yes, they are available at the shop, we can also ship gift cards to anywhere in the U.S.

What is your shipping policy?

We can ship anywhere in the US.  Just use the contact us page for a quote.

Can you order items not on the menu? Or how do I order online.

Where is your pork from?

We carry only Heritage Duroc pork from Tender Belly out of Colorado, a company we've grown to trust.

Where is your chicken from?

Our chickens come from Windy Meadows Farms in Campbell, Texas. Our chickens are free range and all natural.
